Hilton Head Day 1
A 6am flight out of Providence necessitated a very early start to the day. I believe I got about three hours of sleep which did not bode well for the rest of the day considering that I do not sleep on planes. For the most part the flights went well. We had a connection in Philly that was delayed a bit, but once we were airborne, everything was great.

Hilton Head (AKA "the Head") is a beautiful place. I can definitely see the appeal of this place. The weather is nice everyday, people are friendly, and the beaches are great.

Although the events of last night are a tad blurry, I will do my best to recount them.

The night started at a sports bar called Casey's. It's a great place because they have NESN and therefore we can get our fill of the Red Sox. However, I'm not certain how much I want to watch the Sox right now. They've lost five out of the last six! But I digress.

We stayed at Casey's for most of the Red Sox game and then moved on to a bar called Riders. Nice bar, great bartenders, and pure entertainment watching our friend (who will remain nameless) move from girl to girl at the bar. The guy is amazing. I've never seen anything quite like it. When the girl he's talking to leaves, he swivels his bar stool and talks to the next girl. It is really a phenomenal talent.

We made it back to the condo at about 2:00 am. It is hard to imagine that twenty-three hours earlier, I was waking up to get ready to come here. Good times!
